QR Codes!

QR codes are a really interesting piece of technology with far-reaching implications. What's interesting to me is the evolution of QR codes in the future... I think the ever-smaller internet devices on the market, combined with the prevalence of free app-sharing, will lead us to a future envisioned previously only in science fiction.

How do QR codes come into play, you ask? With the amount of information a QR code can store, I predict that QR codes (or a future derivative of them) will be used in place of business memos, encrypted messages for government services, and even personal ID information.

While the details on how this could all be implemented effectively are currently out of my reach, I think the possibilities for this kind of technology are almost literally endless.

Homework 1

So, after going over Homework 1 in class today with Anji, I think I have a better grasp of how versatile and robust Google Analytics can be. The discussion we had was really great; I find myself making my best discoveries in conversations like those.

I've actually sent a message to a moderator on a forum I frequent, asking if he uses Google Analytics on the website. I'm hoping he'll give me access, even if it's just so I can explore on a more well-traveled website than the MIS site.

Project stuff is going somewhat oddly... I think we have a client now, but finding meeting time this week will be... difficult. Best of luck to us, I suppose.
